I wish I had more space for each location, too. It's the down side to this kind of rapid-fire storyline!

Makes me long for an annual. I pray sales for Haunted America justify one getting greenlit.
EDIT: Forgot to add. Some of the sickest visuals I loved were
Winston just looking out there after the ghosts vanished and below is Savage all slashed up.
The Ecto-1a in the last panel of HA part 3. Also neat it sets up the initial premise of Who Killed Laura Parr Part 1 - Peter is separated from Ecto-2 and the others.
The Demon Trucker's tanker driving through Ecto's exhaust and the split panel below of him laughing

Cheers dude! I was particularly proud of that panel, but you ain't seen nothing until you see #12's...
Glad you guys dig it. It kinda sucks not seeing ANY mention of this stuff in the reviews... I don't think I've worked harder on anything so far...

Oh...! Always the tease. It's cool to see the Slime Blower getting some usage in this 4 parter.
Any plans to revisit Laura or the phantom trucker in a future P.C.O.C. file or is it another 4 part story from you in #13-16?
That's too bad to hear, it's a good thing Twitter makes a fine pedestal to voice this injustice.

I have to say, I read a lot of comics and this is one of the (probably THE) most visually detailed. I find myself reading it three times the day it comes out just to notice all the references and sight gags. Not to say the writing isnt superb as well. "Bunts are for cowards". Keep up the amazing work, guys.

"Bunts are for cowards" is amazing. Egon's character trait of random inflammatory dialogue is the best.

Another great read. And it's been said, but I'll confirm: "Bunts are for cowards." was the best line of the book!
And Tristan - loved the close-up on the
RGB styled particle thrower.

Inflammatory dialogue is the wrong term. Maybe more along the idea that Egon will seemingly say something completely out of character-- "your mother!"-- but it somehow is his character at the same time. Anyway, its a kudos.

Jones, I saw comments about WKLP in reviews for 9 and 10! (Though not 11... but I've only seen 2 reviews for 11 so far.)
As for "bunts are for cowards," it's my 2nd favorite Egon line (after the MRI joke in issue #1.) Glad y'all liked it! (:

Some more interesting easter eggs from #11
*Page 10 **The article Egon is looking at looks like it has a bunch of easter eggs - looks like the Roswell Army Air Field panel from page one, the Eden Feeders one as well, and I think the silhouette of Belda'r from Coneheads. *Page 12 **Dr. Nick Winters references Nick Winters, one of the names taken by Nick The Lounge Singer, a famous SNL character portrayed by Bill Murray. Winters sang the infamous "Star Wars, nothing but Star Wars..." rendition of the original theme on the January 28, 1978 episode of SNL season three. **Montauk is a reference to the Montauk Project in Long Island, New York. Allegedly a continuation of the Philadelphia Experiment, Montauk was focused on psychological warfare and exotic research like time travel, telepathy, and alien contact. **I-Beam is a reference to long metal poles found at the Roswell crash site in 1947. The poles had mysterious symbols on them no one could translate. *Page 19 **The Belda'r Cafe is a stand-in for the now defunct Cover-Up Cafe. The reveal was the 'Weather Balloon' part cut off by the bottom of the panel.

Still trying to I.D. those two guys walking around when Peter and Ortiz leave the cafe.

Sorta wanted to claw my eyes out for seeing this (because it would have been a great surprise but heck it's the Internet era) but Mr. Burnham dropped a bomb about #13 on his Twitter today. I'll put it in spoiler tags cause it's that cool, imo.
Chicago and a Rookie cameo -- coming in lucky #13 for Ghostbusters! Wonder if that'll gin up some last minute orders? (;

As much as I would have loved to keep it a surprise, wanna energize the fanbase, bring numbers up, you know. (;
It would have been spoiled in its entirety by the usual preview.
However, there is a surprise later in the book...

Argh! Why must you tease us so when we have to wait two whole months before getting our hands on that issue?!
Just read #11. You folks are putting out the BEST comic book series on stands in years. You should all be proud!
One easter egg I haven't seen mentioned just yet (I could be wrong about this, so feel free to correct me): Page 20, first panel, it looks like those two characters walking in the background are Ralph and Bill from the Greatest American Hero series.

Thank you, Carnacki. I was stuck on who those two were. I think that's also the alien ship from Greatest American Hero in the first panel of page one.

Fritz Babbles About Ghostbusters #11:
As part three of "Haunted America" begins, the Ghostbusters are visiting Roswell, New Mexico. Unless you've been living under a rock or the highest level of Pop Culture you reach is "Jersey Shore reruns", Roswell is the sight of the famous 1947 incident that, depending on who you listen to, either bug eyed baggy-skinned aliens or a weather balloon crashed. Either way, it started the modern era of UFO sightings and speculation. As the Ghostbusters scan the area, federal agents Fox Mulder Jim Savage and Dana Scully Melanie Ortiz appear, and start arguing about jurisdiction and whether the readings the Ghostbusters are getting are from ghosts or aliens.
Aaaaand of course Egon's skeptical about aliens. It'd be different if ET had been living in six year old Egon's closet, or Eugene Visitor had been abducted by, er, Visitors, but it's totally in character for Egon to be skeptical about an unusual phenomenon he'd never experienced firsthand. He and Savage get into a shouting match, and Venkman thinks it's cute ("Aw, look, Egon's found his own personal Peck") but not nearly as cute as Ortiz. Well, heck, she's both A) based off a character named Dana, and we know how he is about characters named Dana and B) possessed of two X chromosomes, so naturally Venkman goes into "Wanna see my neutrona wand?" mode.
Just about then, as Ray points out, Egon and Savage could both be right: bug eyed baggy skinned green-glowing entities appear. Alien ghosts! The alien ghosts swirl around, mutter some stuff, attack Savage, and then just disappear before the Ghostbusters can blast them.
Hm.
Egon and Ray throw themselves into researching the matter, and Ray calls New York and provokes another guest shot from Kylie as she investigates at the book shop. And Venkman keeps trying to score with Ortiz. "You are very Melanie, after all." Ray's getting an idea from the research, when the doctors make note of the bite marks on Savage being very...human looking.
The Ghostbusters head back out to the site, and Winston teases Venkman about striking out with Ortiz. "It was a solid bunt" he retorts.
Then Egon of all people says "Bunts are for cowards".
Man, I can only imagine Venkman's so stung by Winston's burn and gobsmacked by the sheer oblivious audacity of that coming from Egon of all people he couldn't get out the obvious "Excuse me? This from the guy who constantly went and hid in the dugout every time a certain redhead offered to play ball with him?"
(Or maybe last issue's meeting with Madame Laveau is steeling Egon's resolve to get in the game when he gets back to New York. I guess we'll see.)
Anyway, turns out Ray's right and the ghosts aren't aliens--they're soldiers who were stationed in the area around the time of the original crash and couldn't let what they'd experienced there go. At that point, they become normal Class 3 ghosts and are zapped and trapped. The conclusion deftly leaves aside the question of "So what did they see that got them so worked up about it fifty or so years later?" Real alien corpses? Or just decades of listening to all the claptrap about aliens? Nicely finessed just in case something really did happen there.
Venkman has one last meeting with Ortiz at Beldar's Cafe, which is no doubt a French chain. He announced to her that he's getting away from the others for a few days or "there will be a felony". She gives him directions to Vegas. As we well know having read the previous two issues, he's about to have his own little adventure...
So we catch up with Venkman on that little adventure, the third part of "Who Killed Laura Parr?", and he's scanning around with the PKE Meter as Laura Parr watches. She's either been also living under a rock or been dead for the last ten years because she has no idea who Venkman is or what he's talking about, and he takes it kind of personally. I mean, he was on TV and everything! Remember "World of the Psychic"?
(Since we've read the prolog to this story, it's probably the "been dead for the last ten years" part)
Uh oh..Venkman's getting a new reading. Death Truck shows up and starts chasing the ECTO-1. Venkman tries to shoot it with his proton pack, but Death Truck isn't buying that any more than Ortiz did his pick-up lines. As the chapter ends, he's getting a new idea as he spots a Slime Blower in the back of the car.

It's totally rad! I feel lucky to have been both a ghost (though I naturally object to being trapped heh) and on a cover. I was stoked when I saw the Tobin's Spirit Guide. I was, "Yes! It's in there! He listened!"
