Announced by Erik Burnham, Insight Editions will be releasing a new abridged version of Tobin's Spirit Guide by Dr. Spengler and Dr. Stantz. So far only Erik Burnham and Kyle Hotz (a reunion of sorts from Ghostbusters: Infestation) are attached to the project. It is slated for a 2016 release.

Tristan Jones commented. He was involved on the project but is no longer. He was offered another project even more dear to his heart and had to exit the Spirit Guide project. It all transpired a few weeks ago. We don't yet know what this new project is. But best wishes to Tristan!

I had a feeling it was something like that. Glad he's doing something so dear to him but I will miss his input.

The front cover has shown up on Amazon's pre-order page (see above post)

And the Amazon date was pushed to June 14, 2016 so that means the general release should be June 1, 2016. But it would be cool if they could get June 8, 2016 for the general release date.

Kyle Hotz posted a preview of the Zombie Taxi Driver for the guide. Also, in the comments section, he seems to hint the cover on Amazon won't be the final version.

That's a hard question to answer. Some comic book stores will bend over backwards for you and order it. Some don't care about you at all. The June solicits aren't out until April so then we'd have an order code for the shop to use. You can try and ask one of your local shops now.

It is on Amazon for pre-order now. Insight will have it on their own website soon, probably.

I want a high res image of that "No Ghosts" logo on the cover!

Y'know, the book was surprisingly larger than I initially thought it would be... Anybody else think the book was going to be smaller in size?

I won't get my copy until later this month. How big was it? About the size of the IDW hardcover collections for the ongoing?

I received my copy yesterday, and I was surprised and how nice quality it is for only $11 (amazon prime). It will make a great table piece for conventions!

Maybe half of one, but for some reason, I thought it would be smaller... I might be alone in this thought... LOL

It's been reported there's a green cover variant in the NerdBlock subscription box. The June Classic NerdBlock. Not sure if it's still available.
