Very pleasing to see some more GB content coming in addition to GB101. ^_^

I've never gotten into the Funko Pops, but there's a friend of mine who loves them. I may check it out for the story, though.

Looking forward to this comic, it seems like a fun idea. I really enjoyed the one shot Mars Attacks The Real Ghostbusters and I have a feeling that I will enjoy this one too.
An ancient Japanese prophecy foretold that when the Masters of the Four Winds unite, they would become unstoppable. Instead, the four masters killed each other in battle, proving the prophecy false. More than 600-years later, an ancient shuriken is unearthed, releasing the spirit of one of the masters to seek out and resurrect the other three in order to fulfill the prophecy. Now, the only thing that stands between the undead ninja and the destruction of the land of the living is... the Ghostbusters!
Bullet points: • Part of this month's big FUNKO UNIVERSE event! • Fresh off the successful launch of the new app, these stories focus on the fun and magic surrounding one of the world's most popular and well recognized game properties!

Am I seeing things, or has the title strap on the comics ditched that stupid "angle tilt" the logo went through a couple of years back?

Oh, good; I'm not the only one who noticed that. As subtle as the tilt was, it really bothered me...

Diamond messed up the covers listing again.
What they have on -59 is not the Funko Toy variant. It is the RI Cover.
Just pre-ordered this! This looks awesome! More Ghostbusters universes, YES!

I'm tempted to get this, but I'm wondering... Will this be a rehash of the classic movie in Funko style? Or will we get some new material? Anyone know the plot yet?
EDIT - Nevermind, I read the synopsis a few posts back. I was just afraid this was only Funko-fying what we were already familiar with. Looks like a pre-order for me.
As I expected, a cute and funny one shot story. Nice contrast between the 4 GBs and the 4 ghosts - working together, not, etc. Egon always wins. And gets kicked in the nuts.
It was pretty amusing they addressed how the ghosts could speak contemporary English instead of classic Japanese.
The Nether Regions/Netherworld/Netherlands dialogue cracked me up. Also cracked me up when the undead get perplexed with the Ghostbusters' commentary and there's that one pondering what Peter said about art. lmao.
The "too soon?" ending was perfect. Nice to get a well done company wide event one shot. This and last year's Deviations were very enjoyable. Now back to 101!!
Also, just when I thought we'd have a comic without any Dan Schoening art in it -- an ad at the end with his Winston design and the assorted collections page. lol.

Very pleased to hear that the Funko one shot was a big seller. I really enjoyed the story in this one and the stylized art was a lot of fun as well. Seeing Janine as a Funko POP really made me wish that she had an actual toy counterpart. Dana. Louis and the Terror Dog were the last Ghostbusters characters to get Funko POP's produced of them.
