Would I need to read "Get Real" before the International comics?

For more than a month, I have been on a kick of reading Ghostbusters comics. I decided to start from the beginning because I noticed that several characters are introduced throughout the course of the series, especially having gotten into it when the 101 series came out, although I haven't read those ones in their entirety yet. I have been checking them out from the library and I noticed in the second volume of the International series that RGB Egon appears. Is it necessary that I read Ghostbusters Get Real first? I will admit that I read the first TMNT/GB crossover first before everything else.

Get Real helps lay some of the ground work that pops up into International, Ghostbusting 101 and the Answer the Call miniseries. It isn't explicitly necessary, but it helps fill in some of the details.

Not 100 percent necessary. It's a fun read and would definitely recommend it but I feel you get all the set up that you need to know from TMNT Ghostbusters crossover.
