I couldn't help but to spark a theory about this component. The cyclotron is a particle accelerator, the pack creates a proton stream. The cyclotron splits hydrogen atoms to seperate the proton from the neutron in the nucleus. Protons are sent to the particle thrower while the neutrons get exhausted through the n-filter. Makes sense, right? I believe the "N" in N-filter stands for neutron.
