Don't know if anybody else would agree on this, but I think links to external sites from the forum opening in a new tab would be a good idea.

I think it's more convenient...

Its no longer supported by web browsers.

Press either Control or Shift while clicking.

Or if you use firefox and have a scrollwheel mouse click the wheel on the link and it will open in a new tab.

Yeah I know how to do it manually.

I just thought it would be more convenient if links to external sites opened in new tabs automatically like on other sites (for instance, the RPF)

Personally I find it more convenient and think it would be more user friendly. But it was only a suggestion

It was abandoned by web browser developers, so the creators of phpBB did not include it in the functionality.
