Question for anyone who may have had this problem. I have a Kenner ghost trap, great condition and all but I can't get it to open with the foot pedal. When I hit the pedal, it sounds like it blows air but the trap doors don't open. Any suggestions on how I can fix it? I thought about opening it up but I dont want to damage the sticker on the side unless I have to.

The first thing I would try is to rule out the hose connection points by wrapping them with something airtight.

As for a fix, there's a silicone putty called Sugru that might work--I've used it on other things but not that type of plastic.
