Remember last year when Hot Wheels did those GB-themed repaints of some existing car sculpts?
I spotted this little guy at Big Lots last night and thought, "Oh, man, THAT one should have been in that set!"
The bottom of the car says 2016, so it possibly existed at the time they made the GB set.
I bought an extra, disassembled it (using a soldering iron on its plastic 'rivets') and gave it a quickie coat of black and silver paint. I then painted the 'electrical cord' and some hard-to-see-here front knobs black with a Sharpie.
I'd love to get a custom waterslide decal made for the side. "Toastbusters" or something like that.
