Well had to get my eyes checked for some new glasses yesterday. Have been planning to do so but I have found an online site Zenni optical that you can order glasses from. Long story short (too late to quote Col.Mustard) looking to invest in some glasses as close to Egon's as possible. Just wanted to get some feedback on his glasses since they were a certain style. From what I can see his looked like round black plastic all the way around the lenses though some pictures to me look like they are not.

Hey @redfive1973! You'll enjoy this imgur gallery of the original Spengler glasses http://imgur.com/a/HnwHX. Clearly silver wire frames with a black plastic rim. It also gives you a nice clear view of the ear pieces (like vintage Ray Ban aviators). Good luck in your search!

My pleasure @redfive1973! Just did a quick ebay search and these popped up for a whopping 3 bucks a pair http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fashion-Retro-R ... IZd5ACqT-A. Certainly not perfectly accurate, but for 3 dollars US, you aren't taking much of a gamble.

Edit: Searching a little further and came across these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Algha-4 ... 1779067583. Yes a little beat up, but you could likely resurrect them at your local eyecare professional.
