I need advice on how to beef up the sound on my pack. I have the gbfans sound card and the pack noises are great. However, the sound coming from the speaker when I use the external 3.5mm to my iPhone, the sound seems a bit distorted - any suggestion?

I would start with trying a different aux cable. But you may have to download an app to go into sound settings and adjust it from there. When I use Bluetooth on my phone, everything sounds great, but if I use an aux cable, it goes into some odd setting that boosts bass and whatnot, and makes it distorted. I don't have an iPhone though, so I'm not sure if that's the case.

Try adjusting the sound level coming from the iPhone. You might be over driving the input.

Thanks for the suggestions. Turning down the iPhone volume and turning up the sound card volume seemed to help.
