Hey guys, I just purchased a light kit and 9v Battery clip from the shop and I have a few questions.

1) I notice the kit doesn't have a switch so would it instantly start to run when the 9v Battery is attached?

2) Are the LED's colored or should I get colored lenses?

3) If I want to add wire to make the light kit turn on by flipping a toggle switch on the proton gun, what type of wire should I purchase? Any specific size or anything?

4) Can you recommend a specific low profile toggle switch? The ones in the shop are currently sold out and I have a tight space to deal with..... BARELY 1/2" because this is going into a Spirit Halloween pack. I saw one guy mod his proton gun with toggle switches on youtube but they were purely cosmetic because he didn't upgrade any sounds or lights. I need these ones to function.

Thank you guys very much!

This is a pretty low current setup. You can put a micro switch. Something like this

https://www.amazon.com/SupportTM-Miniat ... Z5R6S5CMGB

You can stick it between the power leads from the battery pack. Just cut the lead and attach the wires to the pins.

There are many different types of switches. Another example. This is just a quick search. I'm sure you can find one to fit what you need. Anything over 9v and 2 amps will work.

For the wire I'd recommend using the same size the kit is using.

I'm sure there has to be someone here that has gotten the cyclotron and powercell light kit from the shop that knows something about what kind of wire to use to wire it to a toggle switch. There aren't any Radio Shacks around me anymore so I am basically trying to get everything ordered that way I can go ahead and get everything installed

I don't know for sure what gauge the kits come with, as I don't have the kit, but I would guess that 20 gauge wire would be more than enough for anything in the pack power lines. If you are concerned drop down to 18 gauge wire but that will be Overkill. I use 18 gauge speaker wire for the power drops on my o gauge train layout that pulls much more current this ever will.

I have the same problem:

I will get a Spirit Pack in the next few days from a friend of mine (so my very first pack ever, but planning on building one from scratch^^) and i would like to use the soundboard, the packlight and the wandlight-kit and i am not sure if they would fit inside the pack.

I have the most problems when i think about this miniwand ... Is anybody here who has modded his Pack with ALL possible options?

I'd like to add lights and sound to my Anovos packs. Is there a link to a setup for sale that could essentially be a 'plug and play'

Looking at the for sale page I see everything sold in parts.

This should be everything you need not counting some speaker wire for the speaker.

Some of the special order items like the battery and the speaker can be found cheaper from other sites. This whole set up is plug and play, no soldering (except you have to solder some wires to the speaker terminals) . You might want to buy something to split out the ground and positive wires from the battery pack. They sell something for that on amazon.
