Shandor's horde of Gozer worshipers are drawn from around the world. Shandor cultivated his minions carefully, drawing followers both from the world's most affluent quarters and from the halls of intelligentsia. He promised them all stations of power and glory in the new post-Gozer millennia, while secretly binding them to his own service in life and afterwards. Though fairly powerful entities, these cultists seem to be subservient to other, more powerful creatures.
Contact and Strategy:
(PC/PS3/X360): First found in the New York Public Library, Ghostworld. You'll not have the Meson Collider for your first encounter, but you won't need it. The first Cultist you encounter will be alone (yay!). However, he will hide in mirrors a lot (boo!). Bust out the Boson Darts and destroy those mirrors. Seven years of bad luck is just a superstition, right?
Cultists attack by lobbing some kinda mystic fireball at you. It is easily dodged, assuming the Cultist is alone. If the Meson Collider is not an option for this battle (or if you're just a purist), the proton stream works just fine for taking these guys out. Sap 'em, cap 'em, and trap 'em.
Dangerous in groups, as that's more fireballs to worry about. Get your Boson Darts ready. Let 'em all cluster and nail 'em all, buster!
