Possessor ghosts can also possess and take control of some statuary and mannequins and are thus often encountered in a wide variety of museums as well as in far more clothing stores than one would reasonably expect.
Fortunately, possessing an inanimate, nonliving object like a mannequin or a statue binds the possessing spirit to that object. Not only is the ghost unable to leave, but it is also disrupted when the possessed object is destroyed.
Contact and Strategy:
(PC/PS3/X360): Encountered in the Museum of Natural History. Most likely taking the form of an Aztec Warrior statue. This type has a spear that can shoot red projectiles and a shield that will need to be wrangled out of the way. At that point, a double-tap from the Shock Blast will destroy it.
On occasion (especially in multiplayer), you will meet a few in the weaker mannequin form that will generally only try to hit you with its hands. Same strategy, minus the shield bit.
You are not likely to encounter one by itself. Keep moving to avoid being an easy target.
