Once only the cartoon mascot of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Corporation, Stay Puft became a giant marshmallow menace when Gozer, the powerful Sumerian god, forced the Ghostbusters to choose the form of his physical manifestation. Though they all tried to clear their minds, Ray couldn't help but think of his favorite childhood icon. "It just popped in there," he said. Stay Puft was initially defeated when the Ghostbusters crossed their streams at Gozer's portal, resulting in total protonic reversal.
It's not certain why or how Stay Puft has returned but, without a portal to the ghost-world handy, crossing the streams to defeat it again is probably not an option.
Contact and Strategy:
(PC/PS3/X360): Found in Times Square. When you first encounter him, he will spawn Marshmallow Minis and then completely ignore you. This actually isn't part of the boss fight (although, with this game, it can be hard to tell sometimes).
When you actually get into Times Square (and can scan him), he will throw globs of Marshmallow at you. Shoot them down or they will turn into Marshmallow Minis. Smack him with Boson Darts until he clears a path for you. Repeat until you're inside. Yep, he's his own mini-boss as well.
Later, you will face him while dangling over the edge of the building. First things first: fire a Boson Dart at the chopper he throws at you. When he blows on his hand, prepare to shoot down the Marshmallow Mini swarm that will come from BOTH hands. When he stops to catch his breath, use his face as a Boson Dartboard. On the third salvo he will lose his grip on the building completely, with predictable results.
