-Winston makes reference to Gozer the Gozarian from the first movie.
-Several references to Superman are made. Ray says "Look! Up in the sky!" to which Winston responds "I can't believe he said that" Captain Steel's secret identity is Kirk Clint(a reference to Superman's secret identity of Clark Kent) Also Peter makes fun of Captain Steel's disguise of just changing his clothes and putting on a pair of glasses.

Peter: To find Ray's marbles...then I'm gonna put them in a sock and beat him unconscious with them.
Dr Destructo: I've almost finished connecting the power supply to my mental neuralyzer.
Janine: Imagine my excitement. So what's it gonna do?
Dr Destructo: It will turn every man, woman and child in Earth into mindless zombies under my control.
