| The comic book edition of The Real Ghostbusters was done by NOW Comics in the United States while in the United Kingdom, it was published by Marvel UK. The two different comic book story lines had nothing to do with each other. Marvel UK was experiencing a sales slump in 1988, but it had larger success with licensed titles such as the Real Ghostbusters, Thundercats, and the Transformers. The Real Ghostbusters was one of Marvel UK's hottest selling titles in 1988. |
