At an excavation site in Brooklyn, workers accidentally uncover a dimensional gateway to the world where all lost objects go. The Ghostbusters are called in to help plug the ever-widening chasm and discover that the company is run by someone very close to Winston.

- The title of this episode is a parody of The Bermuda Triangle and the occurrences are very similar.

- Winston's father appears, construction worker, Edward "Big Ed" Zeddemore.

- Janine wears a pink jumpsuit in this episode.

- When Peter, Ray and Slimer first enter the dimension, a painting of the Mona Lisa with Slimer's visage floats past.

- It is revealed Ray was a Boy Scout when he was younger.

- Janine graduated high school in 1977.

- Egon received a microscope as a gift when he was 3 years old.
