Summary: |
All of The Great Strazinski's assistants keep disappearing in the magician's new cabinet trick and the Ghostbusters are called in to figure out the creepy cabinet's mystery. Soon enough they are transported into the realm of Gorgar, a ghost craving knowledge from a true magician. |

- The Great Strazinski was named by writer, Larry Di'Tillio repaying writer J. Michael Straczynski after the homage where he named a character after him in Ragnarok and Roll.
- This episode is not the first to deal with magicians and magic cabinets, the first was The Cabinet of Calamari.
- Ray wanted to be a magician when he was younger and practiced for hours, calling himself Stantzo The Magnificent.
- Peter references Disneyland.
- Magician David Copperfield is mentioned.
- Toward the beginning of the episode, the Ectomobile's license plate incorrectly says "ECT-1"
- When Ray is thought to have disappeared in the cabinet, Ray is seen outside the cabinet with the other guys.
- If you pay close attention, there are several small but notable animations and coloring errors in this episode including jumpsuit colors, No-Ghost logos on the wrong sleeve or both sleeves, and a playing card with a diamond colored black rather than red. |
