This series marked the return of the proton packs as accessories. Each character came with a proton pack, a removable mask, and a ghostly squirt ball that, when filled with ice cold water and sprayed on our heroes, produced a slimed effect. After warming back up, the figure would return to its normal appearance. These figures are somewhat notorious for becoming a bit "stained" with their slimed look over time. Ray's mask was his famous Ecto Goggles, which appeared in both blue and red variations.
