Injectors

The Injectors or injector tubes are two long capped off aluminum tubes hanging from under the Power Cell. They are welded on a small base plate that is mounted on the shell. A small L-bracket is riveted to the inside edge of the tubes which is then riveted to the shell. They have two tubes (one red, one blue) that connect to the side of the Cyclotron. The theory of the Injectors is that they power the Cyclotron from the Power Cell or inject something else into the Cyclotron. Their exact purpose is unknown.
