Trying to recharge a blue brick

I'm attempting to recharge my blue brick and not having any luck. The battery hasn't seen that much use and this is actually the first time I'm trying to recharge it. I have it set to ON. It is receiving power. I have left it for several hours and the battery never switches to a green indicator light. The only way the proton pack works is if it's powered via the AC outlet. Am I doing something wrong or does it need to be replaced?

Turn off the battery, then turn it back on and try to recharge it

I don't know if anyone has a similar experience but I had bought two blue brick batteries from a online electronics store back in 2018.

The batteries were new but I had a difficult time getting them to charge so I ended up buying some TalentCell batteries which worked great.

A few months later I tried to charge the blue brick batteries but this time I used the TalentCell charger and they charged right up and have been working great. So I'm assuming the charger that comes with the blue bricks aren't that good.

What I thought about when I saw this:

I did try this several times and it doesn't seem to work.

Thank you for the recommendation, I might end up having to buy one. The blue brick charger is lit green when I plug it in, so I'm guessing it's getting power. I have yet to see a green light on the blue brick.

On the instruction manual it does say it will turn green. However, there are a lot of spelling mistakes so I wouldn't be surprised that its a mistake.

Glenn what do you think of the talent cell battery and are you running one or multiple? I’m trying to figure out what battery to use for my build, I’ve used blue brick before so I’m familiar with that but always looking at different possibilities.

This isn't helpful in the least but I tried a blue brick alternative ages ago and wasn't impressed. My pack and wand presently run on 8 AA batteries (Spongeface light and sound kit) and it's been awesome.

I want to upgrade my 8AA battery holder to something that holds 4 18650 batteries (I used to bike at night a lot and 18650's are rechargeable tanks that last for ages...especially the Samsung ones!)

....Spongeface!!! Challenge for you!

The TallentCell battery has a wire harness that plugs into the battery as appose to the BlueBrick that has two wires coming from the battery itself. I haven't come up with a permanent solution as to wiring them.
I had bought two blue bricks and wired them so that I can use a switch to alternate when one battery dies but with all the problems I had charging them I just decided to buy two TallentCell's but so far I just connected one TalentCell on the outside on the motherboard for now. I do plan on re-wiring my pack with both of the TalentCell batteries inside the shell since the one i'm using now has been reliable with holding a charge. I'm also using the BlueBricks in my friends pack since they are running better using the different charger.

That one looks very different from the one i'm using. the charger that came with the TalentCell looks identical to the BlueBrick charger.

I believe those battery's say don't let the battery go without charging for more then 3 months, once the power of the battery gets to a certain point you can never charge them again. I had this happen to me right at the start of halloween season. I had to use my personal Pack as a display and upgrade my girlfriends pack to be "show ready" with a bluetooth speaker and halloween lights, haha.
