So hopefully this makes sense so I apologize in advance. Was wondering if anyone has recommendations for non-cannon light kits I could set up in my pack/wand/trap I can solder together myself. I’ve seen stuff on Etsy and eBay and Adriano, but was curious what other people bought. I’m planning to mod my pack and hook it all up to the same battery system, as well.

If you want to have some with with soldering and DIY try the Electonics as described by CountDeMonet on Git-Hub. I built 3 Proton Packs after his plans and tinkering with Arduino is always fun

You can do quite a bit with neopixels and an arduino. The wiring is simple. It is the programming that can get complex if you want to have loads of effects.

Do a search on youtube and you can get an idea of what neopixels can do.

You can start with someone elses code that you know works and then start changing things to what you want to do.
