Hasbro wand and pack integration help

Hi there. My knowledge with electronics is minimal. I currently have a very crude set of pack lights connected to an Arduino board, 9V battery and a SPDT power switch attached to the motherboard. Below is my current set up:

What I am hoping to do is to connect my Hasbro Wand to these lights along with speakers and an amp. I am wondering if I am able to use a single power source and without having to turn on the amp independently? I plan to follow the videos how there showing how to connect the wand to your own speaker/lights by soldering a lead to the wand speaker and another to the first toggle on switch on the wand.

To make things easier I'll post a pic of what my proposed set up is to be like. I could be totally off about it so please critique it and make corrections/suggestions if possible. I am willing to swap to a 12V battery as well if needed:

Situation 1: I like the idea of being able to turn on just the pack lights without reaching for my wand if I want to so if possible I would like to leave the power switch on the bottom of my motherboard for that.

Situation 2: this is the complicated part I am hoping to achieve. The first toggle switch on the wand will bridge the connection of the 9V battery in my pack which would allow for power to both my pack lights and the amp simultaneously activating all lights and sounds.

Sorry again if this is all unclear or a mess. I really am new to all this and despite all my research I am quite stuck. I've just been connecting bits and pieces of things I learned here and there.

In terms of things I need to buy there is an electronics store near me here in Vancouver, Canada and I've been looking at this amp and speaker. Would they work well enough to have good crisp sound?

definitely do the aux amp speaker mod. I don't think hooking up the pack lights to the one is worth it, a lot of work for little gain. Plus the matty/ spengler wands are fragile and cant get parts for it..

But if I was going to .. 9v battery is not going to cut it. Get a 12v blue brick. Spend over $15 on a speaker. I'd have speaker amp and lights on one circuit ..

Now you're spengler wand is going to have three toggle switches.

1st- turns on the wand with startup sound, the 2nd turns on the wand lights, 3rd turns on pack hum.

Replace the first toggle switch with a double pull switch.. one switch that turns on two different circuits simultaneously. Now you have a setup if you flip the first switch on your wand , it starts your pack lights with sound. And you can choose whether you want the wand lights on or pack hum. Even if the wand goes to sleep, it doesn't affect the pack lights.. even if the amps hot, hopefully it's not making a sound if you don't have a signal going to it..

If it was me I just do a 9-volt LED lights and Bluetooth speaker

Thank you so much for replying. How do I properly connect the pack lights and amp on one circuit to the battery like you said? Would the below diagram be correct?

Do you know what the thin wires that can fit through the wand handle? I can't seem to find them.

and thanks for the DPST suggestion I will look into that as I do want the one switch to turn on both pack lights and pack amp/speakers.

I also agrree on a bluetooth amp as it would be cool to be able to play music off it. However how would that work with connecting to the wand? Is there an amp that has both direct and bluetooth connection?
