I'm sure this has been brought up before numerus times. But I can't seem to find the answer to my question.

I'm not to keen on electronics and wiring stuff. But I want to put lights and sounds in my spirit Halloween proton pack. I know I'm getting most if not all the stuff in the electronics kit list. My main concern is how to set it all up. Is it plug and play? Is there wiring I have to do? What battery do I use to power it all? I don't want to buy it all and fry it the second I hook something up wrong or have the wrong battery.

Sorry for my ignorance in this manner. Just wish there was a walkthrough for this stuff. And if there is a walkthrough where can I find it?
