A cylinder with holes in it isn't that uncommon in the world. The N-Filter is a cylinder with 9 evenly spaced holes of the same size in it. The part that you linked to has 8 holes of different sizes.

I don't think this is an "N-Filter found part" as much as it "a thing which kind of looks like the N-Filter from certain angles".
