I can't seem to find an answer on Reddit and there's way too many threads on here to browse through.
I'm in the United States.
I was wondering since the 84 pack that's about to ship has the USB C power option, and a lot of people have used Talentcell banks to power their Afterlife packs. Which Talentcell block is usually used? I've seen posts about the 12v/5v banks but there's many to choose from.
Which one specifically should I purchase?

TIA

I’m interested in knowing this too.

For the Afterlife pack I used the Talentcell 12V 3000mAh that has both 12V out and 5V USB out. Model# YB1203000-USB. In addition to this battery pack I used Spongeface’s keep alive board that uses the 12V output rather than the 5V USB to power everything.

It’s my understanding that on the upcoming 84 pack a keep alive board won’t be needed when using USB for power. I would think that the same battery pack would be sufficient, but I was going to wait and see what everyone thinks is the best option.

Does anyone know where on the 84 pack the USB input will be located?

It would be awesome if Hasbro had the instructions online so we could see them and know.

It is located inside the "snack compartment" behind the powercell. This was confirmed via an e-mail from Hasbro.

Normally the Talentcell used is the YB1203000-USB, as it fits in the space behind the snack compartment. The YB1206000-USB has twice the capacity but does not fit into that space without modification; however it can be made to fit in the space where the D-Cell battery box normally goes if you either remove the D-Cell box from the Hasbro motherboard or get rid of the Hasbro motherboard entirely (the latter option is my preference; an aluminum motherboard is one of the best upgrades for a Hasbro pack there is).

Since the USB-C connection is now in the snack compartment we no longer know how much free space there will be there, so you may want to wait until people have the pack in hand to see before jumping on anything.

Perfect! Glad it’s not on the outside. Missed that detail along the way somehow . Thanks!
