The Bay Area Ghostbusters are starting thier supply/care package drive in collaboration with the National War Dogs Association, for the military working dogs in the middle east. We will be collecting various items to ship to the K-9 units over the holidays. We have one collection station at a Pet store in Union City Ca. with hopefully more to follow.
K-9 units are often overlooked and are in need of supplies so we thought this would be a worthwhile pursuit this holiday season.
I've attached one of the flyers in case other franchises might want to get on board with particular organization.
As a Veteran who was also a Vet. tech in the military I came to admire the dedication the handlers have to thier dogs and until recently did not realize how often these units are overlooked.
