The Arizona Ghostbusters will be appearing at our local comic book shop Spazdog Comics on Free Comic Book Day 5/3/2008.

Besides promoting Free Comic Book Day, we have teamed with the shop to host a summer food drive for our local food bank. Summer is the lowest donation time for food banks. What we collect will go to the John C. Lincoln Hospital and Dessert Mission Food Banks. The shop will be offering special deals for those who make a donation. The store will send out a press release and we may attend the First Friday Artwalk in downtown Phoenix the night before to help promote the event as well.

Hey what are you and your compadres doing the weekend of April 18-20? That's the weekend of Colorado's StarFest sci-fi convention, and it's going to be huge. I was just thinking it would be awesome to have you guys at the show, but I don't know your schedule otherwise, or if you can tear yourself away from your work long enough to make the arduous trek up to Denver.

Thanks for invite. I'm sure you guys can handle it. We're saving our time off for San Diego. Already using some for these events. Our next 3 events are right in a row. After that we may try to take the break we were supposed to be taking now.

As I'm sure you've experienced, when people want you to do these kinds of events, they forget you actually do something else with your life, but you adjust anyways because you love doing it.
