I am currently making kid-sized protonpacks and as part of my senior thesis work at KCAI I'm trying to get people more interested in building they're own toys and props. So I will be hosting an event for kids an adults on May 15 at the reading reptile in brookside from 6pm to 8pm. I would love for people in costume to show up and take pics with kids and answer questions people might have about making stuff. I am looking for all types of costumes and props Ghostbusters, starwars etc. As a craft project I will be showing kids how to make a paper lightsaber. Should be a lot of fun. That would be great! The only change is I decided to start the event a little earlier since it was a weekday and I want little kids there. So the time of the event is now 5to7pm May 15.

With the time change, I may not get there until fairly late. I am going to ask to get off work early that day, but if they say no I don't even get off until 5:30, generally not home until 6 or so. Factor in the time to get all dressed up, and you can see how late I might be.
