The NYC Ghostbusters went dormant for awhile there, but now things have reorganized and we are bigger and better than ever!
We've updated the logo and launched a new site http://www.nycghostbusters.com and have regular been doing events as a larger group (the 30th anniversary art show, various screenings and an all-day location tour).
Here's our updated logo, based on the one originally designed by "Fanboy":
and new patches:
This week we did our second library event (though for most of us it was our first).
Attendees could build a paper toy Stay Puft, handle props, take photos, and even make their own slime (which they got to keep).
We're looking forward to the Halloween Parade, New York Comic Con, the re-release of the film and a number of other events.
If anyone happens to be headed to the NYC area and wants to meet up or lives in the NYC area and would liek to get involved hit us up on our Facebook page (http://www.fb.com/nycghostbusters or get in contact via the site.
