Im starting my trap soon and was wondering what kind of wood to us?

Well, I did biuld a trap my self, I just use any and lightest wood I could fine.

1/4" MDF works well. I covered mine with polyester resin before painting to stop the paint from being soaked up like a sponge, especially on the edges. Not too bad weight wise, I've heard some built theirs out of foamboard too.
