how are people attaching V hooks to their Matty traps?

Just scored a Matty Trap for a decent price now I have to add a v him for my holster. How are people adding them?

In the past a fan was offering metal replacements for the battery cover, which is the most natural spot for attaching the V-Hook. I don't believe that fan makes them anymore, however.
