- November 15th, 2010, 3:03 am#280451Okay now I'm a big aggitated at that comment ProtonCharger, look I can see you didn't register for this website until 2 months after my foamboard proton pack run in October of '09 (my first ever creating something GB related for the community) so let me explain:
I saw the growing number of members around here that needed help before Halloween and didn't know anything about constructing ANYTHING, I had already built 3 foam board proton packs with working lights for my buddies and myself for Halloween and had some extra materials leftover for a few more packs. I offered durable foam board proton packs for $100 plus shipping, I posted pictures and video of the packs so the members knew what they were getting before placing the order. I did not take the full amount right off hand, I had them send half the payment (for materials) and then I would send them pictures of the pack before they sent me the other half of the payment for approval. I churned out 7 proton packs with working rotating lights, all that was needed for the packs were the alice frames and proton guns. And stickers. You can go look at my user profile on here and look at my prop pictures, they were all made from foam board/cardboard/things around the apartment. A member on here hated what he received and was pretty vocal about it, everybody else was satisfied for what they got for $100 (it was a durable proton pack with WORKING LIGHTS for god's sake). After Halloween was over, I put my proton pack on ebay for $300 (it had an alice frame and proton gun), evidentally the girl (whome this topic is about) is his cousin and she expected to get the same thing in return for $100, even though I had posted pictures of the item (the only thing I didn't post in the item description was the list of materials it was made out of, which I didn't think I needed to do).
The pack I put up on ebay was in my apartment for over a year leftover from last Halloween, I modified it (it was a mess) so I could wear it for a night this year for Halloween. I put it on ebay. She was more than displeased and has been calling me a scam artist and a theif even after I told ebay I would refund her without having to send the item back to me. Apparently she didn't like the fact that the pack was made from materials that you can buy at the store or have laying around the house.
Point being, I did NOT rip anybody off. You can go look at my ebay feedback profile on there, one guy even left a "neutral comment" (not positive) so I don't make people leave me positive feedback.
