Found this in my news feed. Ecto 1, Batmobile, and BTTF DeLorean up for auction on Aug. 1 via the US Marshalls. Previously owned by Ryan Sheridan of Ohio who was convicted of fraud. Pictures of the Ecto show the George Barris Kustoms badge and a "Driver - Dan Aykroyd" sticker on the front door. Anyone know anything more about this Ecto?

Looks like the '59 Eureka that used to reside in the Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Illinois. Barris, who actually DID build the OG Batmobile for Adam West, was famous for taking credit for building movie cars he had nothing to do with it including the Ecto 1.

And I wonder what's up with the MGM window decal. Were they trying to pass it off as the real deal?
That's George Barris' signature on the hood. His shop built this car. The Volo auto museum sold it a few years back. Who knows what up with that decal...
