Decided to get a denim jacket like the one Ray wears in GB1:

Ended up finding this "deadstock" Big Ben by Wrangler Chore Jacket in my size. Take off the pocket patch and it's a dead ringer:

Just need to work out what Lapel Pin goes on the collar now:

It's weird, I was checking the other day and there were heaps listed on AU eBay, but today there were only a couple. There's more listed on the US eBay, so another option is to use Stackry or a similar forwarding agent.

Suggest keeping a watchlist for "Denim Chore Coat Big Ben" with your size added in as well.

Obtained a better source and decided to have another quick look for comparison.

A. It's 100% a lapel pin
B. I seem to be color blind, as that's 100% not a blue/grey collar like the one I originally bought

I ended up picking this one up for cheap on the bay. Little bit worn in, though it has a more accurate lighter collar:

Now the hunt begins for Ray's Frozen Empire jacket...
- Looks like a suede collar rather than corduroy
- No right pocket flap
- Possible standard lower pockets

Lightened captures from the trailers:

Might have been custom for production based on the original.

It looks unlined, based on the folded up sleeves.

Could be a duck canvas collar too, or a thin corduroy.

Here is a shot of the lapel pin. I was recently able to pick up a jacket in brand new condition on eBay and I’m thrilled with it. The jacket will be my go to once the weather gets cooler.

Here are a few shots of my new favorite jacket, waiting on a ufo lapel pin to arrive, I’ll be removing the little pocket patch soon.

I added some Easter eggs into the lining of my jacket. Why go through the trouble of sewing it in? Because I know it’s there

Just popped in to ask if anyone can give guidance on the sizing of these things? Do they generally run large.

There are ones listed just now which are theoretically my size, but the measurements are a bit wild.

From memory mine is a 44R. I am about 5’-8” and 170lbs. The jacket is on the larger side, but the length of the arms and torso are good. If I were to wear a heavy sweater underneath or start losing control on pizza and ice cream it would be a good fit.
