On Saturday we got up and met with Vinny (Kind) and had a blast. First stop was the Biltmore Hotel in LA, also known as the Sedgewick.

We pulled up with the lights a-blinking and parked in a loading zone. Nobody seemed to mind.

The interior is totally the same.

Around the corner there was a McDonalds ad being shot, with a giant driveable restaurant.

After that it was over to Ladder 23, which just so happened to actually be in a de-militarized zone.

The area was very typical for big city, much like what you'd find in Queens or the Bronx. Wouldn't want to be there at night, though.

Then it was off to the Griffith Observatory, famous overlook of Los Angeles. Also known for being in major scenes of Transformers and the Rocketeer.

We managed to get past the parking guards and take pictures in an area where personal vehicles were prohibited. How? We're the f****g Ghostbusters, that's how.

Hurrr.

Statue of Einstein.

Hold me tight, Albert!

Stinky finger.

Totally a reference to the H2G2, and also run by Wolfgang Puck. We probably should have eaten here.

After the observatory it was on to Sean's house for the barbeque. We pulled up behind the D and flipping on the lights. Had a good ol' time!

And in the back yard...

Astromech trash can, good lord!

Sean's shop was probably the most fun thing we saw. On his tool rack he had pliers, wrenches, torx bits, and this.

Onward, to the screening!
