My girlfriend has spent a long time preparing, recording, and editing her retrospective video on The Real Ghostbusters. She has a lot of interesting points and a passion for discussing the show. But, it isn't getting a lot of views because it is very long and not well promoted by the algorithm. I'd appreciate it if anyone could give it a view, and maybe drop a like. It would make her happy, and if you're a fan too, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Thanks :)

Gosh, that is long. It may have done better broken up into sections. Anyway whats done is done. I've started it and will probably put on in the background tomorrow when I am in the workshop but here's some thoughts for some improvements next time.

Make sure the camera is flipped the correct way. It's currently reversed/flipped.

Wear the same thing... Clothing consistency would make it feel more like it was recorded together as part of a presentation format rather than in multiple takes over multiple days.

I do commend your partner for putting something out there, though, even if it is a bit long and uncut. I've been sitting on an unedited video I made about my RTV for almost a year now haha. Maybe one day I'll actually put it online.

I would strongly suggest, as painful as the extra work might be, to cut this up into topics and upload in bitesize pieces. Eg. Intro, Baby Spookums etc. or cut into 30-60 min chunks. Then upload one a day for a week or whatever with tags. Might help with the algorithm. But will make it much more digestible.

Based on the first 15 mins I can see your gf was inspired by Phelous’ videos, which is a compliment, plus she’s got great vocal delivery and makes insightful points. Will watch but the 4.5hr vid makes it a pain.
