Whatever is easy or cheap preferably. Why they built the hooks like this is beyond me. Like even if there was some usable notch or something you could use a carabiner on it would have been much better.

If you have access to a 3d printer (a friend or your local library) there are good solutions on thingiverse . I used this one:

Sadly I don't have access to one. Any place that sells them directly? Better yet one that requires less tearing it apart? I don't mind adding a v-hook, but the less chance I have of breaking the thing the better. I am not a handy sort of fellow.

Edit: I went with a printed kit that only requires super glue. Even if I somehow messed up that (I really doubt it even with my lack of craft handiness) it'll be ten times better than the stupidass peg they have. Who thought that was a good idea anyway? They didn't realize the thrower would just not stay in there under any circumstances? Thanks for the idea of 3d printed solution. That's how I found what I did.
