Which of the two is the better pack? Is one better quality than the other or are they pretty much the same?

I got my son the Rubies pack for his birthday. Its much nicer, cosmetically. Its actually black.

I haven't seen the two packs in person, but I do own a Rubies pack and I have noticed a few differences. I picked up the Rubies pack on Amazon for a lot less. Only $49.28 to my door.

First off the cyclotron lenses are actually red plastic inserts, I believe the Spirit packs are clear. If you plan on doing a GBFans light upgrade, it will have the correct red lenses to swap out so it's not a bother.

When I purchase the GBFans Lights and Cosmetic Upgrade Kit, everything fit perfectly without any modifications. I did notice on the wand, there are no fake switches for the intensify or activate buttons, only little holes which actually made it easier to drill.

I did do the GPFans Wand Tube Upgrade Kit and I had to do a little extra trimming to get it to fit around the wand tip. It's still not perfect but I'm happy with it.
