pack is made from an awstudios kit (resin and plastic)...parts were cleaned, sanded, puttied, glued on/screwed on, painted...motherboard is wood and has a real alice fram/straps...light kit provided by exoray (awesome! thanks!) and my batteries are on the motherboard, behind the frame...the pack is 95% done (needs touch up paint and a clear coat)...i worked on it in july, but had to wait for the lights to arrive to finish it...comments and questions are very welcome, but do understand it needs touch up paint...i shouldve taken other pics before and during, but was too excited...ps. the only part i didnt get from aw studios was the gun mount, which i made myself from leftover plastic and (knock on wood) is holding pretty well
i went for a heavily weathered pack, because, well, they were made 23 years ago

Looks good, with that little bit of touch up paint you said it needed and the addition of some light caps to cover the LEDs on the gun it will be a real nice build up... I really like the brown weathering on the grips, it adds a lot to them...

I really like the weathering on the pack and gun. It looks great. It really has a "bustin' since '84" look to it.

thanks for all the compliments...i did the touch up paint, but need to get my hands on led covers and a good v-hook ...i made mine from wood and plastic, but it broke and i dont want to risk damaging my wand...ill post some new pics after this weekend
i guess the lack of comments is a good thing because that means the pack really did turn out well
gallina, im really jealous you have a second pack to make...i would kill to make another one...your pack came our really well...it reminds me of mine with the weathering

Well done, my man!

In the first few pictures, the green putty reminded me of cartoon slime oozing down it.

I should mention some helpful unnecessary criticism, but your wand does look a little crooked. Is it just my eyes or the picture? I guess it doesn't matter but you may want to correct the bend to make it even more accurate.

Arguably, these three red lines should be straight and parallel. It could look correct in person and I am prob sticking my nose too far in anyway. I just appreciate when people offer advice, so I got in the habit of doing it myself.
