I believe Kevin Tanaka is over due for some field work. Janine is pulling double duty as secretary and liaison and if Ray wants to put more man hours into figuring out a way to get Jenny out of the containment unit, somone will have to help out in the field in his stead. I think if the comic continues to do well I think we will see Kevin done a pack real soon. I also think we might see an inside the containment unit adventure in the Prime universe. I just hope Jenny is not stuck there I have really come to like that character.
Thanks. Totally, so many options. Well, I recall Janine was annoyed Peck wouldn't approve Kevin. And well, not Janine is in a position to change things. Yes, it is curious to see what happens with Jenny. Obviously with RGB, there's a lot of ways to go plus they used the prototype Trap-Gate to open a gateway into the Containment Unit at the end of TMNT/GB Vol. 2 to trap the Collectors. But so much risk as well.
philmorgan81 wrote: December 20th, 2018, 1:58 am I was wondering if they do put out a third TMNT/GB crossover if they deal with Chi Yu's return or if they would fight the Ghost of the Shredder. I would love them to team up to fight the Turtles arch nemesis, but at the same time I can understand why they probably wouldn't want to go that route. For one thing it might feel like a retread of the Darius encounter. It might also take away a lot of weight from the Turtles victory in Shredder's defeat. Who knows. ;). The main thing I would look forward to is the Ghostbusters going to the Turtles world. I know that idea was being bounced around and the thought just brings a smile to my face. :)
If I recall there's a Shredder in Hell mini-series coming up so they are revisiting him soon. And with Chi-You, it's full circle as the villain of the third volume but I'm sure the TMNT fans have been wondering what kind of upheaval the Pantheon is in store for when the others learn the truth about Chi-You's disappearance. But it still begs the question of what will the Ghostbusters get out of it. They made some game changer tech made during the past 2 volumes - the Interspatial Teleportation Unit, the Remote Portal Access Bands, and the Trap-Gate. Hard to believe something isn't slated to be invented in 3.

Another wonderful year to look forward to. I am so ready. :):):)
Whatever comes, I look forward to seeing some more IDW ghostbusters comics in 2019. ^_^

Wow!!! I really can't tell you what synopsis excites me more. Prime Busters Dealing with Atlantis, ATC dealing with an actual demonic entity in their world, Extreme Ghostbusters Dealing with an "It's a Jungle out There" Situation, and The Real Ghostbusters dealing with rival Spookbusters. My gosh this is pretty cool. I am really curious about the RGB one. It looks like they are dealing with their own version of the Ghostsmashers situation. I know they had to deal with Robo Buster and the fake Ghosts R Us Company, but this is a rival team that has better everything? This is going to be cool. :):):)

Atlantis for me. Can't have been a coincidence that Atlantis came up in Crossing Over as a topic of Peter's thesis. And Egon in that WIP. WTF? Did he get possessed by something or has Ray's spirit guide reached out to Ray in one of his dreams again? EDIT: Another cool possibility is for this canon, we know from the Tobin's Spirit Guide book that Lotan was supposedly present during the destruction of Atlantis. Maybe we'll see a cameo of it.

RGB - That one threw me for a loop the most. That was thoughts, hope it's not another Ghosts R Us situation. I can't wait to see Ray's disguise. lol.

ATC - That surprised me a little but it's like a Rachel-Koza'Rai or Anti-Christ thing (or Raven-Trigon if you want to go DC).

EGB - True, sounds like that RGB episode but they also dealt with the Mistress and Demi-Dog remotely possessing all of NYC's dogs in that one episode.

I half wonder if it's going to be an RGB version of Ron Alexander, Jenny Moran, and the rest. Probably not, but it was the first thing that popped into my mind.

I almost forgot. It may not be part of the 35 Anniversary anthology, but even SOS is dealing with their own version of WATT. It seems that each team is dealing with a story that has already been told. Mrs Rogers Neighborhood is one of my favorite episodes. Again I love the fact that even though the SOS team is dealing with the same entity from that episode in their reality, I love how the writers are not just rehashing the same story. From what I've seen of the previews the key thing that happens is that Watt deals with the SOS team at the haunted house and still somehow winds up at the firehouse where the Senior Members and the SOS team have to work together to deal with it. These isolated busts are just what some of the fans have been asking for. A little bit of winding down until the next BIG event. :):):)

Now I really hope that it leads to revivals for Real/Extreme. I wonder what cool stuff they could use as easter eggs.

Just noticed Diamond released their own version of the April solicits article that Newsarama posted on Wednesday and the last line is kinda neat (even though we know vaguely of a comic coming in June).
https://www.previewsworld.com/Article/2 ... Book-Event
The announcement of IDW's Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary comic book event follows news of a planned Ghostbusters film sequel slated for 2020, set within the continuity of the original two films. Fans of IDW's "prime" Ghostbusters line should take heart that the original team will return in new adventures leading up to the motion picture.

Looking forward to getting these comics(the prime team and RGB especially) when they come out. The Prime GB's finding Atlantis sounds like a fun concept, and I am digging the Ecto Submarine seen in the early sketches. Also, I think that is great the EGB's a finally getting a full length comic book story. Tim Lattie has done a great job drawing the variant covers for the regular series so far, and I am vary curious to see how he is drawing a full story. The preview for the Real Ghostbusters looks really interesting, with them fighting a giant ghost baby. I am sure that Peter is going have something funny to say about that.
