Illustrator Thom Enriquez has built a career of over the past 30 years, featuring some of the most recognizable animated properties of the 1990s and early 2000s. He also worked as a Creature Design Consultant on Ghostbusters and Production Illustrator on Ghostbusters II, and has chosen to auction off some of the artwork he'd retained from the productions with Heritage Auctions.

The auction lots include production artwork for the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Slimer, the Terror Dogs and the logo for Ghostbusters II, with bidding scheduled to begin on the 14th and 15th of February.

Thom Enriquez Ghostbusters Concept and Production Illustrations Original Art Group of 4GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)
The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is one of the most recognizable characters from the Ghostbusters franchise and these images are spot-on perfect! There are two, created in blue pencil and graphite on white animation paper. Also included is a concept piece for "Stantz's Pet Lizard", and a reanimated corpse. Both are pure graphite. Image area sizes range from 6" X 8" up to 8.5" x 11". Each piece is signed. In Excellent condition.

Thom Enriquez Ghostbusters Terror Dogs Concept Illustrations Original Art Group of 2 GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)
The Terror Dogs lived up to their name in this comedy/horror film classic! Here we have a close-up of a head, and a second piece with four images on it. They are created in red pencil and graphite. Each is signed in the image areas. The head shot measures 14" x 8.5". The smaller dog designs measure approximately 4.5" x 3". In Excellent condition.

Thom Enriquez Ghostbusters "Onionhead/Slimer" Concept Illustrations Original Art Group of 3 GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)
These two illustrations show the evolution of "Onionhead" into something looking much more like Slimer. Also included is an "alternate exploratory design". These are created in Prismacolor pencil on white paper. Image areas are approximately 7" x 8" or smaller. In Excellent condition.

An alternate design for the film's logo was explored with this version created in blue pencil and graphite on white paper with an image area of 5.5" x 7". Signed in the image area. Comes with a color print of the final logo. In Excellent condition.

The evolution of Slimer is documented on these concept pieces are the art department was trying to nail down "the look" for what would become one of the most important (and marketable) characters in the Ghostbusters franchise. They are created in Prismacolor pencil on white paper. Image areas are 8" x 7" or smaller. Each is signed and in Excellent condition.

Thom Enriquez Ghostbusters Stay Puft Concept and Production Illustrations Original Art Group of 3 GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)
Early designs for one of the most iconic figures from the entire movie... the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man! A sequence of drawings shows his melting animation, and the last piece shows a variety of facial expressions. Created in graphite and color pencils on approximately 12" x 10.5" white paper. Each is signed. There are minor wrinkles and creases on some of them. In Very Good to Excellent condition.

The "Terror Dogs" in Ghostbusters were truly scary, but trust us... they could have been worse! Here you can see the evolution of the original design submitted that were refined into the more familiar Terror Dogs of the silver screen. They range from slightly comical to absolute Nightmare Fuel! They are created in varieties of red Prismacolor pencil, watercolor, and graphite. Each is signed in the image areas. Image areas range, but the largest is 10" x 7". In Excellent condition.

Thom Enriquez Ghostbusters II Slimer Illustrations Original Art Group of 3 GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)
One of these pieces is a collection of different poses and attitudes of everyone's favorite spectral "Spud"! It was produced in pure graphite on 11" x 8.5" white paper, signed and dated in the lower right. The other two pieces are multipurpose illustrations of Slimer created in graphite and blue pencil on 8.5" x 11" white paper. Each is signed. In Excellent condition.
