There's been discussion about all-in-1 devices and alot seem to be against it. Personally I think the proton pack should remain a separate machine WITH a built-in-trapping function.

Scaling the pack down to handheld device seems a little too unrealistic (ya I know all the equipment is fictional). I mean it makes more sense that it's something that needs to be bigger but I think it can be streamlined. Lighter and nothing exposed.
