Or the very least trying to figure out what's causing the PKE meter to pick things up in the first place. As we don't know how the EMF detector will affect battery usage it would be a nice thing to have a kind of alarm if your meter's running out of power.
I appreciate the timeout setting is frustrating... But in fairness the P.K.E. replica wasn't designed explicitly to be taken on actual ghost hunts... The EMF detection feature was intended as a fun little gimmick that would pick up readings in the safety of one's home.

It would probably be recommendable to stick to dedicated E.M.F. Meters for night-long ghost hunts (Also less chance of accidentally dropping and damaging/breaking your P.K.E. replica in a rough and unfamiliar investigation location).

That's why you buy 2. All kidding aside I see your point, but if we get the holster there's less chance of your EMF detector falling out of your pocket!

For sure, 3 of us in our P.I. group ordered the set for the EMF PKE Meter, so one of us will at least still have a running PKE Meter until we get the mods

As nice as the trap holster is, I'm more happy that we'll be getting both halves of the V-hook. I have a rubber holster I currently use, so I'd rather just transplant the v-hook to that. Yes, it's rubber. Will it wear? Yes. Will it tear? Absolutely. Do I care? Nope. I'll just print out a new one when this one fails.

All that aside, I'm hyped at how well this is getting backed. Hopefully after seeing how well both Ghostbuster projects went, they'll do more... like a classic thrower or a giga meter or a full scale Ecto-1 that folds into a briefcase Jetsons style...

Greetings all!

10 DAYS LEFT! A little more than 1600 more backers needed for this campaign to achieve the needed 18,000 for the third stretch goal. Let's do it!

We'll easily go past that. Nothing to worry about.

Would we get one so soon though? I think Afterlife had 3. 4 total? (That's including the reveal trailer with the farm) Don't take my word on that but I don't remember very many were put out.Sony really needs to utilize this month for merchandising. It would be such a dissapointment if they miss Christmas. Frozen Ghostbuster logo ornaments? Yes please!

The nomenclature throws me off. The listed this first one as a 'teaser trailer' - so I don't think that's the same as 'Official Trailer #1'. I think? If they release any kind of video really, doesn't have to be a trailer could be a bts featurette, that's a trickle down effect and helps the crowdfunding for this. I think that point was proven on some Haslab Star Wars stuff when Mandalorian or Ahsoka was streaming a new season.

timeware wrote: December 1st, 2023, 8:49 pm If Hasbro even made a video of showing the props working it'd be enough to push over the final backing goal. One would think. I'd love to see how the EMF chip functions.
totally agree, we didn't saw anything after the 1027 event. with the proton pack they went to Adam Savage to showcase it in details. this time there is silence instead

Having followed GB merch from 1984 to 2003-4 ish I was bummed I missed the Matty trap on release and had to get it aftermarket. The rest of the Matty props I picked up at retail. Being a part of GBfans allowed me to be informed of the Hasbro Proton Pack Haslab and this new Haslab2. It would have been a real bummer if I missed those deadlines and had to get Hasbro proton packs, traps and PKE's aftermarket.

It's so awesome to be a part of this community. GB is also cool in that there isn't a ton of merch / props like say Star Wars, GIJoe or He-Man. We pretty much have the Pack, trap, pke, goggles and belt gizmo. And slime blower if you're die hard GB2, and that's it. That's why we do our best to advise Hasbro to get the details right, because the props are few and incredibly iconic.

Star Wars had how many light sabres released as props? We had one Ghost Trap for the past 40 years.
