It would probably be recommendable to stick to dedicated E.M.F. Meters for night-long ghost hunts (Also less chance of accidentally dropping and damaging/breaking your P.K.E. replica in a rough and unfamiliar investigation location).

But in fairness the P.K.E. replica wasn't designed explicitly to be taken on actual ghost hunts... The EMF detection feature was intended as a fun little gimmick that would pick up readings in the safety of one's home.
Or the very least trying to figure out what's causing the PKE meter to pick things up in the first place. As we don't know how the EMF detector will affect battery usage it would be a nice thing to have a kind of alarm if your meter's running out of power.
