Give them time. I'm sure we'll have some new stuff by the time con-season rolls around. I'm more interested in the new 3.75 inch figures and if they're compatible with the the Lego Ecto one.

If you're talking about the big Lego one then they'll probably be too small for it, I've seen pics of the 6-inch plasma series figures fitting perfectly though.

Ironically the plasma series Afterlife Ecto is the right scale for 3.75 figures 🤔

As someone who missed out on the Hot Wheels Ecto-1 1/8th from 2010, the 1/8th that Hasbro announced is sounding appealing.

Surprising they only announced 2 things. But on the other hand, they announced the big ticket items on their Hasbro Pulse stream (e.g. the 84 Neutrona wand, the Two in the Box, the Spengler back). The pack and two in the box were both on their Hasbro Pulse stream at the end of an October. Plus, if they have another Pulse Con in September, there's another event they could reveal more merch.

Apparently there are rumours of another announcement in June? Not sure how true that is but hopefully something more impressive is on the way. A Haslab re-release would be an absolute dream as I missed the first one.
In the meantime enjoy these costumes coming from Disguise - A surprising Garraka and a truly horrifying Slimer.

Makes sense. They did have a presentation at one of the GB Day events, Ecto Fest in 2022, for the Spengler Pack. That was when a lot of new info got revealed after things got silent when the last stretch goal was unlocked 6 months prior.

We have to recognize that Hasbro is having massive financial problems. I’m sure the GB toy rollout was stunted due to this. I have to say that I’m surprised that there is silence regarding Kenner Classics this time around. Bummer.

Quite fancy the Ecto if it’s at a decent price point but the main thing for me is that I really hope they follow it with the 1A.

The Hot Wheels Elite version (with its inaccuracies) is beautiful but very expensive so to be able to get the 1 and the 1A would be very appealing to me.

Bring on the 1A!

I'm waiting to see a price point on the figures first. I passed on the Wreckto-1 Plasma when I found out it was too small for the actual Plasma figures. If this line is inexpensive and successful, give us figures and vehicles from all the movies!

Speaking of the figures... can these hold the throwers properly? I haven't seen any images of the throwers off the packs or even in their hands in any configuration.

Just realised there's an actual price info in the last section of the article:

Pre-orders will launch on Ghostbusters Day, June 8th. The figure four-pack is said to be around $44, while the Ecto-1 is expected to mirror its predecessor, which launched at an MSRP of $49.99.

Not awful, but not great either. I'm guessing we won't see individual releases of the figures so $11 each isn't bad, but the fact it's all in one go is a bit annoying.

The articulation looks like it would allow to hold them, maybe a bit awkwardly, but I'm dubious about the throwers actually separating from the packs (just by looking at the pics). I hope I'm wrong about that though!

What do you mean? The Fright Features were announced and immediately sold out everywhere.

You didn’t hear about the Hasbro co massive layoffs earlier this year? Yes I know about the FFs reissue hitting Targets and Amazon. I just thought surely they would announce another wave of Retros and possible a plasma series line for FE. Maybe more on June 8th…?

I think the o-ring set cool because I am a 1:18 hardliner, no interest in 1:12/6".

But I will take this opportunity to SHAMELESSLY boost my high opinion of PLAYMOBIL GB toys. They're fantastic and I never see people discussing them. They were bizarrely missing Gozer and Vigo figures 🤔

Right, but how are the layoffs related to Ghostbusters specifically? Wouldn't other brands take as much of a hit? I wasn't really sure how popular Kenner Classics are since I don't really have any interest in re-releases of vintage toys, but I figured Fright Features selling out on Pulse then being released on multiple storefronts to accommodate the rush were indications that Hasbro knows they're a big deal.

We'd all like more Plasma series stuff as well, that's what bummed me out about the panel (plus the lack of roleplay gear announcements).

Out of all the reissues, original recipe Ectoplazm is what I wish for the most.

A Yankee Candle collab would suit me fine. I already ruined so much furniture with that stuff as a kid.

I sometimes either get a whiff of something that smells like it, or my mind actually puts the scent in my head, and it unlocks that core memory every time. It's almost like an out of body experience.
