Some notes: the piece representing the handle ("Plate, Round 1 x 1 Open Stud with Bar Arm Down") doesn't currently come in red (though I'm sure it will in time), so you may wish to use the white version for the time being.

Also, the piece I used for the ribbon cable is "Tile, Round 1 x 1 Quarter with Bright Pink, Dark Azure, Dark Turquoise, Yellow, and Coral Rainbow Stripes Pattern", though as it's from a retired range, "Tile, Round 1 x 1 Quarter with Coral, Yellow, Dark Turquoise, Medium Azure, and Medium Lavender Rainbow Pattern" will serve as a viable alternative.

As of 2021 they chose the Sanderson house from Hocus Pocus, and will be releasing a set later this year based on Jaws and the Twilight franchise, so they're still accepting I.P.-based projects...

However, I don't think the Containment Unit is substantial enough, nor likely to be popular enough to get chosen.
But I appreciate the supportive words.

I appreciate the part names and instructions I'll definitely be building on to slap in/next to the lego firehouse. Apologies about the misinformation about the Lego Ideas limitations... I was given some bad information from a supposed "expert" not long ago. My bad.

The hocus pocus is on my list of sets right now. I'll be building this at some point. Maybe as a book end. I'm slowly unpacking a new apartment so I've got other sets to rebuild and figure out how to display.. I have quite a few. Lol.

Wish we had another Ghostbusters set in the offing but after the Firehouse and Ecto I think it’s done.

Checked out the instructions. This seems like a straightforward build that should only take a half hour or less depending on your building level. I wouldn't mind seeing the containment unit next to other Lego sets for size comparison. Also Chicken, the Sanderson house would make an excellent edition to an MOC cemetery build. You can always box up the mini figures you don't want use.
