Thanks. I tried there actually. Maybe I'll try Lowe's.

At least I know it's an easier find than I was making it out to be.
I cant remember right now where in Home Depot the Copper Elbows are but I saw them over by where they sell the pressure washers and such at Lowes. Im going to be building my reboot pack soon and I have been looking everywhere to get ideas as to what parts im going to use to build what. I will be using this page as one of my main references.

Thank you so much for all the research you put into this and I will use this source and others to build mine soon!

Hi Y'all! :)
I am resurrecting this thread because I really wanna finish my baby... I began my ATC pack build in 2017, with so much great info from this site. But my spine problems and health issues got the better of me for a few years there, so I could not physically work on it anymore. Could barely focus on anything due to pain, meds. fatigue, etc.
But anyway, I have jumped back in, determined to finish this build.
The ONLY thing I have left that I cannot do on my own-- ELECTRONICS.
I have my red lighting in the cage all set. My gun box is all set and I cannibalized a proton gun toy for the sounds for my wand.
The only thing I am stumped on-- How do I power and program all these silly digital numbers I have all over the place?? LOL
I'd be so grateful if someone could pop on here and explain it to me like I am 5 years old!!!
TIA

Doug Keithley/sponge face/Ghostlab42 made a excellent set of displays way back when. That’s what I am using in mine, but he has long since made any more of them. Your best bet would be to ask Doug for his advice.

What was your method for making the hose? I'm thinking latex tubing with Techflex steel braided sleeving... How'd you do it?

Just yes braided mesh tubing with the wires zip tied to it.

Why does everybody go for zip ties? If I remember correctly, it’s supposed to be electrical tape?

Looks like zip ties from the GB reference library.

On some of the photos it's bare zip ties, on others it's definitely black electrical tape, but it looks like the tape is covering zip ties underneath. I went with that (zip ties covered by electrical tape), also based on looking at the V3 packs in the film itself:

I couldn't find silver braided mesh sleeve so I bought a cheap black alternative, then spraypainted it silver (Rustoleum Aluminium). After 12 months of use it's still looking great, and the paint hasn't caused any issues with flex/durability.

seems to vary. the props for sale appear to be tape, but the one in the case appeared to be zipties.

In case it ever wears out, the paint I mean, you should look into Techflex steel braided sleeving. Pretty cheap, and it's steel.

I'm in Australia, it's not that easy to find here, and certainly not cheap. One distributor wants $336 for a 30m roll, and they don't sell in cut segments. I'd keep looking but there's no need at this point, and as a commission build it's not something we plan to sink any more money into unless absolutely necessary. Might be useful info for someone else though.

The painted sleeve still looks pristine after a year of heavy use, and it only cost $5. The tape needs to be touched up in places, and the decorative wires are starting to fray a little, but the electronics wires running inside the sleeve (inside a plastic split loom for added protection) are working perfectly still. So if someone lives in an area where the metal sleeve is unavailable this is a great alternative. Maybe $10 total cost.

holy mother of overpriced. Living in the US, I can get 10ft for about... 20 bucks plus shipping from Wirecare. That's a shame about the pricing, man :(
