So I have been wanting to make a Frozen Empire pack for a while now, but the wand always looked like an oversized CD Player to me. So I never got around to it.


That was until I saw Frozen Empire and the wrist thrower in the movie. I INSTANTLY got the idea in the theater to combine the two.


So lets get started with the "Tainted Empire" pack build.

(I didn't take pics of the wand build til way later into it....sorry....)



I still need to figure out what I am gonna do for the bar graph and finish the LEDs on the top, but wand is mostly finished.

I used the guts from the new FE wand toy for the sounds and firing lights.

Pack:
I 3d printed the pack parts in a hurry as I am in the process of moving.

I wasnt that happy with the results, so I reprinted after my move.



Then onto filling, sanding, and priming.


While that was going on, I found something at Walmart that seemed....promising.

So I did my best Doom Guy and proceeded to "Rip and Tear"
I tore it apart, wired some new switches to it, and get it running.

This is where I am currently at. I need to wire us some static LEDs into both the wand and pack, as well as figure out the bar graph for the wand. I will be getting some 1in loom to attach the pack to the wand as well.

My GF/Partner has an older archery arm guard she thinks will work for attaching the pack to my arm. So fingers crossed on that.

Printed a couple loom adapters for the pack and some lenses for it. lights look so much better now.

Also found a small ribbon cable for the pack section.


Ordered this to see if I can use it to attach pack to arm.

The arm brace was modded by cutting off the straps and adding longer ones. Used Chicago Screws to attach it to the pack itself.

Still need to add static lights and a bargraph to wand
