Can't see the meme. This is a tune you can boogie to.

mrmichaelt wrote: ↑October 5th, 2024, 7:39 pm Yeah.... let's get back on topic. Who thinks they'll include in the electric powers the Scoleri Brothers had in early drafts of GB2?I would not be surprised if we see a pair of cosmetic variants like Garakka/RGB Slimer/Classic Slimer. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them added as a whole new variant or their own ghost class, but in terms of what we've seen so far, it seems more likely that Tony will be a Poltergeist (Possible Gnasher with his Zap ability?) and Nunzio will be a Basher.

It sounds like a fun new challenge for players to have to fight 2 different ghost types at once and would force new strategies and tactics.
Christof wrote: ↑October 6th, 2024, 9:14 am To be clear, I would expect them to be treated as two separate ghost options that a player can pick one of. We're already having trouble with Ghost mains just running away as Overlord and Possessors spamming arm/minion traps everywhere rendering all effective tactics useless, could you imagine adding a 2-for-1 type that combines the tether resistance of Bashers with the Ult of Poltergeists? Or the move speeds of a Poltergeist combined with the constant knockback/camera shake of Basher's attacks? That would be bananas for game balance, and we're ALREADY in a situation where Buster's gear mods desperately need an expansion and overhaul to address the multiple things that either don't work (Lookin' at you, Lightweight Module) or are severely underpowered (Gosh, I would love the RTV to last more than 5 seconds of deploy time).According to the community team, we're apparently getting a balance pass soonish (probably part of the new update). As for the Scoleri Brothers? More than likely, one will be one of the Poltergeists as a skin (zappy most likely) and the other could fit in as a Glutton, Ectoplast, or even a Basher.
...God I cannot wait for a QoL patch.
zeta otaku wrote: ↑October 6th, 2024, 9:22 amYes! I heard that we got a confirmation on that. And totally agree, I expect to see the Scoleris as two separate variants. I would love to see MORE build options made viable for the Pack, but honestly at this point, just fixing broken stats would go a long ways. With stuff like Lightweight not actually giving a 20% move speed bonus like it says it does, it's really quite frustrating when you're constantly running into Ghost players that ONLY run away from you and don't bother fighting or engaging in any of the shenanigans that Ghosts are capable of. And that's not even touching on how the RTV is completely nerfed by it's Battery Usage being so high. It needs a complete re-balance to make it a viable piece of equipment.

Personal opinion: the RTV should be removed from the game as it is in it's current state.
timeware wrote: ↑October 9th, 2024, 11:12 am They censor the Nintendo Zapper on the Captain N DVD box for crying out loud so I would be honestly surprised if the Ghost Bomb gets used, much less called the Ghost bomb.We had Ghost Grenades in 2016, and we had Phoebe climb into a machine to temporarily turn herself into a ghost in 2024. I think your concerns are largely without merit.
timeware wrote: ↑October 9th, 2024, 11:12 am Or have it already set up on a map and you have to get the boogieman to that location, not necessarily trap him. Have the mission timed and make it feel like the RGB episode. I would really like to see the Boogieman's realm be used and not just a random NY location. That's a LITTLE outside the scope of the game now. Anything they add will be limited to the currently mechanics we have in the game. The game is 2 years old, this year's DLC line up wasn't promised (to be fair, they would've been dumb to NOT do a Frozen Empire tie in), the already small dev team are now spread to other projects, and, let's face it, the game's heydays are behind us.
timeware wrote: ↑October 9th, 2024, 6:25 pm Surprisingly Dragonball Xenoverse 2 is still going strong since 2016 while adding new features. I think Spirits still has a few years left. With Boogie having such a large fan following i'd love to see him get his own storyline. Might be the perfect time to bring in Phoebe since Egon's...Crossed the street to get to the other side. You're comparing apples to oranges. Xenoverse 2 is an OC simulator in one of the most popular franchises in the world with a LOT more funding, support, and larger player base than anything GBSU could have hoped to have gotten. Spirits Unleashed was a budget assym that acts as a pseudo-sequel to a sequel to a duo of movies that came out 40 years ago.
Chicken, He Clucked wrote: ↑October 10th, 2024, 12:20 amJust wanted to touch on these points real quick:
Personally I’d like to see a sequel. Carry over the ghosts and cosmetics. But tweak the core gameplay so it’s all just a bit more polished & slicker. I think movement could do with some improvements, rift mechanics reworked. A new engine for more sophisticated physics and damage. A move to an over the shoulder Resi 4 view would benefit playing as a GB for a ton of reasons. And finally, a new map roster because imo the museum and clock tower bar maps stand out as bigger budget, better design than the others. It needs 10 of those.
But likely SU will live on in the fanbase after Boogie drops for the next decade even if support ends after Y2. I think the blueprint is here for a much bigger and more successful PvP & PvE game, but not sure it can be realised given the current budget, studio, fanbase.

Not a fan of the color layout, but that's why we have tints!
Kingpin wrote: ↑October 15th, 2024, 2:43 pmI love them. There's inspiration from packs across the ages and at first, I thought they were the packs from that Citroen car commercial from years back. The thrower looks like Eddie's work refined (lots of elements from the unique unshelled components there).zeta otaku wrote: ↑October 15th, 2024, 1:42 pm 2 days before the preview stream, they dropped this: Zeddemore Pack and Thrower shellsOooh, I rather like those.

mrmichaelt wrote: ↑October 15th, 2024, 8:36 pm Interesting. So pretty much if Zeddemore Industries got to do redesign instead of the PRC.Hey, at least it's AFTER the preview stream this time XD
Ah, so looks like the DLC/patch is October 29. I was 2 days off with my guess.
