Got an interesting issue with two of my uniform leg hoses.
The yellow ones, for lack of a better term, are melting.
It seems like the inside and outside of each hose is sweating/ melting into an oil.

Anyone else come across this or have a solution?

My hoses also do this, especially when stored for a while. I usually just wrap a Clorox wipe around them, squeeze, and run the length of the tube. It cleans them off pretty well.

Cheers. Not sure what a clorox wipe is, but I'm sure there's an Aussie equivalent.

How long have you had this particular leg hose for? And beyond attaching it to the rubber hose connector, have you made any other modifications to it?

I've had both for a while I'd imagine.

No mods.
One is on the suit I use for events, the other is on a display mannequin that doesn't leave my office.

Yeah, they were already yellow.

I have the GBFans yellow leg hose as well (purchased in March 2019), I just checked it and it looks OK although it probably does have some "sweat" inside on account of being mostly sealed at both ends (magnetic connector and belt hook). The outside feels fine too, no tackiness that I can feel. I've worn it at plenty of outdoor events, including some in direct sunlight on 40+ degree days (yuck )

I think you can get Clorox wipes here in Australia but Dettol Disinfecting Wipes are probably a lot cheaper and more common.
